Manning Gottlieb OMD has won the business from Yopa’s incumbent agency, The Specialist Works, who have held the account since 2017. Manning Gottlieb OMD triumphed within a four-way pitch.
Yopa called the pitch after an increasingly competitive market encouraged them to reinvent their marketing strategy with bolder and braver media. Manning Gottlieb OMD will support Yopa’s objective to grow their brand and their business.
Manning Gottlieb OMD will begin working with Yopa immediately.
Gav Thompson, Chief Marketing Officer, Yopa: “We needed an agency with a strong understanding of brands and consumers; with unequalled strategic thinking; a creative approach throughout; and brave media planning. Manning Gottlieb OMD rose to our challenge and fitted this brief perfectly. We are proud to be working with them.”
Claire Marker, Executive Director, Head of Client Services, Manning Gottlieb OMD adds: “We are over the moon about this win. Yopa is a fast-growing customer-centric brand in a rapidly growing sector and we are excited to help them grow even faster. We cannot wait to deliver some fantastic campaigns!”
Yopa is currently spending £12million annually on media. Omnicom sister agency, Lucky Generals, remains as Yopa’s retained advertising agency.
